A Journey called Life

Hello dear friend,
it is a great honor for us to know someone might be reading this just now. This undertaking of making a blog has been of great significance and importance to us. It has for one, helped us a lot in clearing our doubts and problems. Our esteemed benefactors, like Mr. Vikram have he;lped us in clearing this thick and pitch black fog which blinds us today. For this we thank them deeply. Also, thinkers.india has provided us with a way of communicating with the future of this country and maybe the whole world. It allows us to hear your ideas and in turn communicate ours. But this post here, the one you read now, is not a mere thank you note and we would like to speak of some other matters now.

Science today has changed a lot. It is a lot different from what it was, maybe a few decades ago to the people then and most of all to the greats such as Albert Einstein, Stephen Hawkings, etc. Surely, everyone can see that. Not only has it advanced a great deal but also the way people look at it and go about it. But is it the science that has truly changed or the mindframe of the people towards it. This we shall, today, try to find out.

Now, first let us try to define science, shall we? So, now think about it for a sec, what is science? .....................................................................................
..........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
................................................................................................................................................................... Surely you got an answer. So now what is it?

It is probabaly that science is the subject which deals with the cosmos, nature and all the rest of the nonsense some mad men care about so much.
Well unfortunately, and most definitely, no. I am very sad to say that science meant the same to me just a couple of years back. It was simply but a means to show off among friends and family. A quest to achieve one of the most foolish and useless treasures of all times, a reputation. Alas, how much of a fool I was then. Well then, so what is science? The answer is fairly simple. Science is man's most ultimate search for truth, and it is precisely this search which interests me most. For science is not some stupid subject a child studies or should i say, some textbook a child a child byhearts simply to earn some marks. Science is simply not that. The truth is, as you can fairly see, in fact it is a lot, lot more beyond that.

Many people today believe in the more illusive and unreal part of life. Its many distractions and etc. They think of marks, package, comforts etc, never giving a thought to it. Never thinking about it, about if that is truly their ultimate aim. And it is in this very fog of illusion and false comfort that they lose oneself. It is the same with many scientists and common folk today.

The truth is in fact that life or any aspect of it, like science for eg. is not quest for fame, or materialistic desires, or some award. Take physics for eg. many think that it is a quest for the noble prize or fame etc. But it simply it isn't. It is a quest for the truth about out cosmos and the laws that govern it. It is simply a man's and the whole of mankind's deep desire to unlock the secrets about their own home, their very existance. It is not for fame or the noble prize. It is just a quest for happiness. A quest for realisation.

Life is a race, many say. You don't run hard, run fast, you'll be left behind. To eat the dust. Well is you ask me that is the stupidest version of the definition of life I've ever heard. Do forgive me if with this i have hurt someone. I mean it not. But it is simply what i believe. Life is not some stupid race. And if its a race, a race for what? Some good package? A comfty and reputed life? Is that what man's greatest treasure lies in? No. I mean what is the accomplishment in being able to by heart or learn some textbook and write it down on some answer sheet or any where for the matter? Is that what is an achievement? A man wrote that book, for god's sake. And if he could think it all up, work out he math of it, how could it be anything like a challange to any other man, an other mind in wait to awaken and uleash its mighty powers and shock the world with its capabilities? The true challange, the true task, my friend lies in being able to question that book's authority or maybe write your own book or make your own inference about it. So friend, awaken the giant with in you. The powerful and humongous giant that lies in deep slumber with in you. Do somethn for your fellow brothers and sisters. For your country. And for mankind.

In the starting of the preceeding para, we talked of what life was not. So then, what is life? The answer is simple. Life is a journey. It is a man's quest to awaken the giant with in him. A quest to simply findout and do what makes him, in the truest sense, happy. And in this quest, more than if you make it to your destination or when you make it there, matters HOW you make it there. And that is precisely life is the Journey and not the quality or package you end up with.

That is all I wished to tell you. And once more I apologise to all whom I have with these words offended. But I apologise only for hurting them and do not regret having said these words, for this is what I truly believe. May you find your way towards happiness.
Thank You
A.B.G.D.
